Manhart, one of the most famous German tuners in the industry, has just turned 30 and to celebrate it has taken the BMW M2 and dropped in a tuned version of the M3 engine.
In addition, it has added some visual and structural enhancements, and named the result the MH2 630.
Giving the MH2 630 its striking appearance is the sunburst gold metallic paintwork and a set of custom 19-inch black wheels with matching gold brake calipers. It’s also been fitted with a front splitter, bigger air vents, extended side-skirts and a carbon-fibre boot spoiler.
The ballistic performance is obviously provided by the M3’s S55 twin-turbocharged 3,0-litre straight-six engine, which has been boosted to 470 kW. Methods to reach this output have not been mentioned and neither have the performance figures.
Only five MH2 630 units will be made, each with a pricetag of €100 000 (R1 630 741).
