The GranTurismo has been on the market for quite some time now. Well, 10 years, if you’re counting. Despite its age, Maserati has decided to give it another update for 2018, and the result has been revealed at the New York Stock Exchange (of all places).
Both the Sport and MC gain a restyled exterior and revised interior, while the naturally aspirated 4,7-litre V8 remains untouched.
For starters, the visual changes made to the GranTurismo were apparently inspired by the Alfieri Concept, and include a hexagonal grille and larger air intakes. Maserati claims this improves the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency.
Maserati says that the rear bumper has also been redesigned, while the model pictured above is finished in a new Grigio Granito grey paint.
Maserati doesn’t specify what changes have been made to the interior, but it has confirmed that an updated 8,4-inch touchscreen infotainment system will be installed.
