In three weeks’ time the Los Angeles Auto Show will open its doors, and Mazda has confirmed that it will unveil its next compact SUV/crossover, the CX-3 at this event.
The company did not reveal any additional information on the new SUV, but expect to find Mazda’s Skyactiv 2,0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine as well as the 1,5-litre petrol engine in the CX-3. This compact SUV should also become available with both manual and automatic transmissions.
The Japanese manufacturer also confirmed that the new Mazda MX-5 will be on stage at the show, making its North American debut. That market will only receive the 2,0-litre, four-cylinder engine, although other markets will get the 1,5-litre engine in this compact sports car.
Look out for more details of the new Mazda CX-3 closer to the time.
The Los Angeles Auto Show open its doors for the public on 21 November.
