Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 4Matic Coupé ahead of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show.
Like the non-coupé version, the latest addition to the Stuttgart-based automaker’s ever-expanding range is powered by a 3,0‑litre V6 biturbo engine linked to a nine-speed automatic transmission (the latter with reduced shift times).
All-wheel drive (configured with a rear bias) is also standard, with Mercedes-Benz bravely claiming that its fitment allows “occasional off-road excursions to be undertaken”. The brand’s Affalterbach engineers have also designed a dedicated sports suspension based on the Air Body Control multi-chamber air suspension system.
The AMG-fettled V6 makes 270 kW and 520 N.m, allowing a sprint from standstill to 100 km/h in 4,9 seconds. Top speed is, of course, electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The Mercedes-AMG GLC43 4Matic Coupé will make its world premiere on 28 September in Paris.
