Let it never be said that Mercedes-Benz South Africa doesn’t have a sense of humour. To celebrate the last cars to feature the legendary M156, 6,2-litre, naturally-aspirated V8 engine, MBSA is importing only 10 cars called rather aptly the Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe Legacy Edition.
It seems these cars based on the Edition 507 model (watch our track test here!), but features a very luminous Viper Green exterior hue, while it is also reported that the cars will feature matte black wheels – even though the car in one of the picturse is equipped with silver-coloured wheels.
If the picture of the cars on the transporter is anything to go buy, it seems the exterior wing come as part of the standard equipment, or all the clients have opted for this option. Needless to say, the car does look menacing.
As before, the engine delivers 372 kW and 610 N.m, enough to power the car to 100 km/h in a claimed 4,2 seconds.
We expect that all ten examples have already found homes.
