A picture of what will be one of the most powerful Ferrari’s to date has surfaced on the Internet.
The current Ferrari F12 Berlinetta already develops 545 kW and 690 N.m. However, this picture suggests Ferrari is working on a more powerful and lighter version of its front-engined, V12 supercar, said to also gain the Speciale name.
It seems notable changes have been made to the rear including the diffuser and rear bumper. Three air vents have been cut into the rear wheelarches while there also seems to be different side sills. At the front there could be a wider splitter, while it looks as if carbon-fibre parts have been implemented behind the front wheelarch.
It is believed that the engine has ben developed to deliver an additional 22 kW. Expect downforce to increase, while the car’s weight could decrease be around 100 kg. All these updates could result in an acceleration time to 100 km/h of 3,0 seconds dead, around 0,1 seconds quicker than the standard car.
We could see the official unveiling at next month’s Frankfurt International Motor Show.
