Subaru has taken the wraps off its Viziv-7 SUV concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show, essentially providing a solid preview of its upcoming three-row, seven-seat SUV.
The Japanese automaker says the production version, which is due to be introduced to the North American market in early 2018 (and likely built in the United States, too), will be “the biggest Subaru vehicle ever”.
Indeed, the Viziv-7 SUV concept (running on 21-inch alloys) measures a whopping 5 200 mm in length, with a wheelbase of 2 990 mm. That makes it even longer than the recently revealed Volkswagen Atlas.
The brand has yet to reveal any information about the three-row concept vehicle’s interior, while also remaining mum on possible powertrain options. However, we can expect the as-yet-unnamed production version to make use of one of Subaru’s boxer engines, linked to its symmetrical all-wheel-drive system.
