On the stylistic front, the changes are subtle; comprising dark metal finishes for the door handles, tailgate bar and front bumper, as well colour-coded side protection mouldings on the Expression model. The range-topping Dynamique Plus adds 17-inch alloy wheels as standard, while front and rear park distance sensors are now standard across the range.
The list of optional extras for the Expression model has also grown to include tinted rear windows and metallic paint – two new colours dubbed Pearl white and Starry black have been added. In the case of the Dynamique Plus, a panoramic sunroof, rear parking camera and Xenon light pack are among the optional extras offered.
Inside, the changes to the Expression model encompass new Teflon-treated ‘Erevan’ dark carbon upholstery and satin chrome trim finishes while the Dynamique Plus features full leather trim and electric seat adjusment. Both models now feature an ‘Eco-Drive’ module integrated into the TFT information display incorporating fuel consumption readings and a gear shift indicator. Renault has also fitted the recently updated Carminat TomTom system to the 1,6 Expression model for the first time.
The engine choices remain unchanged, with the Expression featuring a 1,6-litre petrol unit developing 83 kW and 151 N.m of torque mated with a six-speed manual gearbox. The Dynamique Plus, in both 5-seater standard and 7-seater Grand body shapes, is powered by a 1,9-litre turbodiesel powerplant with 96 kW and 300 N.m of torque
