Scenic gets a few more features

The Renault Scenic will now be available in limited edition Sportway guise in South Africa with a few more features, including rear parking proximity sensors.

The Renault Scenic will now be available in limited edition Sportway guise in South Africa with a few more features, including rear parking proximity sensors.

The Sportway Limited Edition is available in 1,4 16v and 1,6 16v derivatives. The 1,4 16v is powered by a 70 kW and 127 Nm powerplant, while the 1,6 engine offers 79 kW and 148 Nm.

It comes with Sportway badging and has rear parking proximity sensors and a six CD shuttle.

The remaining features are the same as the Scenic. This includes six airbags, side impact protection bars, seatbelt pre-tensioners and load limiters and anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution and electronic brake assistance.

Inside there is a centre console cooler box linked to the air conditioning, satellite controls for the sound system, and additional stash spaces.

The Sportway Limited Edition comes with a two-year/50 000 km full maintenance plan.
