Ferrari, no, Lamborghini, the Porsche is not bad, but I prefer Maserati, no, make that the Toyota MR2… it’s a tough decision, but it’s time to cast your vote in the best sports car section in CARtoday.com’s Top 12 Best Buys competition.

Do you dream of owning a Maserati? Which Ferrari gets your heart beating faster? Do you prefer the Porsche Boxster or 911? It’s time to put down the top and cast your vote in one of the most exciting categories in CARtoday.com’s Top 12 Best Buys competition. Which sports car will get the CAR editors’ nod?

Sports cars are something many people like talking about, and everyone has his or her personal favourite. From the Alfa Romeo Spyder to the Aston Martin Vantage, or the Audi TT to the Lamborghini Diablo, there’s something for everyone. Make sure you cast your vote.

Don’t forget it’s not over in the previous categories. After dominating early in the game in the medium cars section, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has been pushed aside by what seems to be the very popular BMW 3-Series. The 3-Series leads with 47 per cent of the votes, with the C-Class dropping back to 24 per cent. Maybe the Audi A4, on seven per cent, will keep voting interesting and move up a few notches.

In light cars, the Mercedes A-Class on 31 per cent has left the Volkswagen Golf choking on dirt at 12 per cent – while it tries to fight off the Alfa Romeo 147 on seven per cent.

And the Toyota Tazz is still king in budget cars. It leads with 27 per cent, with the Volkswagen Chico on 23 per cent.

Remember all the categories close on December 21, so there’s plenty of time to register and vote to stand a chance of winning great Camel brand prizes.
