Citroën has been using its DS Performance brand to do some impressive things in the motor racing world, including snatching a podium finish in last season’s Formula E championship.
To celebrate this, the French automaker has decided to provide its DS line of cars with a performance trim, dubbed “DS Performance Line”. This package will simply be a visual enhancement and will not provide the car with any increased power output.
The upgrade will be available in a variety of paint colours, which will be accompanied by a contrasting black roof; gloss black alloys; and red, white and gold DS logos for the door mirrors and rear spoiler.
The interior will feature new black cloth and leather upholstery with DS Performance emblems and chrome inserts. All optional extras on DS models will furthermore come standard with this trim level.
The DS Performance Line will be made available for the DS 3, DS 3 Cabrio, DS 4 and DS 5 models for any engine-transmission combination. Although not yet confirmed, it seems unlikely that this trim will find its way to South Africa.
