The European Car of Year finalists have been announced. These 41 vehicles will each be a contender for the 2016 title, set to be announced at the Geneva Motor Show next year.
However, a shortlist will be revealed on 1 December, followed by the final seven finalists announced on 14 December.
To be able to make the list, a vehicle needs to be on sale now, or at least by the end of the year. The list includes an interesting mix of cars, from normal hatches to supercars. As expected, there are already several cars that can be discarded from this list.
