The facelifted Honda CR-Z hybrid has been unveiled in its country of origin, Japan. The car has received a makeover, which includes several updates on the inside and outside.
The front is redesigned, which also includes new headlights. At the rear the bumper has also been freshened up with a modern and sportier lower half. Honda has also added new wheel designs, while customers will also be able to choose from a black roof, or a colour-coded roof.
Move to the cosy and colour interior, and the manual handbrake has been replaced with an electronic unit. The result is that an armrest has now been incorporated into this space.
There is also a new infotainment system with a touch screen, while the sound system will now amplify the engine sound!
There is no changes or increases in the car’s power delivery. This means 91 kW and 190 N.m of torque from the hybrid system (1,5-litre engine with an electric motor).
The new CR-Z will go on sale in Japan starting October. If Honda decides to import this facelifted model, expect local sales to start early next year.
