This is the Ferrari 458 MM Speciale. And it’s the only one in existence, built thanks to a specific request from a dedicated Ferrari customer in England.
The unique model was revealed at the Fiorano circuit, as Ferrari’s chief test driver, Dario Benuzzi, took it around the track with the eager new owner.
The car was designed in-house and employs the 458’s chassis. The lines on this remodelled shape make use of a visor effect for the glasshouse and a blacked-out A-pillar to create a floating roof design. This redesigned roofline is much lower and helps make the 458 MM Speciale even more slippery through the air.
The colours on the 458 MM Speciale pay homage to its country of origin. The body makes use of handcrafted aluminium and carbon-fibre on the front and rear, while the sides gain a new air scoop, which makes for the most noticeable visual difference.
This design brings the bodywork closer to the coolant radiators, rendering the system more efficient. The air intakes have also been revised to provide even better airflow to the engine bay. For extra downforce, the 458 MM Speciale makes use of a new spoiler that stretches across the rear.
Other trimmings on the 458 MM Speciale include an exclusive new set of wheels, modified head- and tail-lamps, an enhanced audio system and Cioccolato leather upholstery with white stitching.
Unfortunately, Ferrari hasn’t provided any details regarding the engine specification or performance figures.
