Late last week, we published a story that included a slide from a recent Mercedes-Benz mid-year release, suggesting that (amongst other things) a GLA Coupe was due to arrive in 2017.
But now the Daimler-backed automaker has replaced this “roadmap” image with another one, which no longer makes mention of the GLA Coupe at all. Instead, the new slide suggests that the GLA will receive a facelift in the first half of 2017.
Interestingly, earlier rumours around the possible development of a GLA Coupe suggested that it would in fact be based on the second-generation crossover, and would thus arrive in 2019 at the very earliest.
The rest of the so-called roadmap remains unchanged, and includes references to various upcoming models, including the E-Class All Terrain, the GT C Coupe and GT C Roadster, and the much-anticipated bakkie.
