To date there have been a few teasers and spy-shots of the highly anticipated third-generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class but this is the first official image from the German manufacturer which gives us some idea of what the B segment hatch will look like.
With just a view of the front it’s quite clear that the new model is destined to adopt the new design philosophy debuted by the soon-to-arrive CLS. The new A-Class will make use of the slim LED headlamps and larger air intakes.
As for the line-up; there’s still no confirmation on what variants will be available but it is rumoured that the A45 will return with 300 kW and a lighter Audi S3-fighting A35 will join the hatchback’s AMG line-up.
The new Mercedes-Benz A-Class will debut on the 2nd of February 2018 where it will take the stage at the Geneva Motor Show later in March.
