In an effort to put some focus on GMSA’s Isuzu KB range, the company has launch the KB Midnite Edition. As can be seen in the pictures above, the Midnite Edition is based on the KB 300, but sports several, darker, updates.
The run of only 500 bakkies are offered in three external colours, red, white and silver. At the front of the bakkie there is also a new updated bumper. The black theme continues to include the mirror caps, roof rails, side steps, window surrounds and also the 17-inch alloy wheels.
Viewed from the rear, there is a black sportsbar behind the cabin which includes “Midnite Edition” decals. In true sports car fashion, each vehicle will receive a special plaque indicating its production number out of 500.
Although all vehicles will be offered with the 3,0-litre, D-TEQ engine (130 kW/380 N.m), buyers will have the choice between a five-speed manual gearbox with a 4×4 drivetrain, or a five-speed automatic transmission with a 4×2 drivetrain.
As with all Isuzu KB products, the Midnite Edition comes with a 5-year/90 000 km service plan. However, it only goes on sale in September and GMSA hasn’t made the price available yet.
