Using the Sport Sedan Concept seen at the Detroit show, the next generation of the Nissan GT-R has been rendered.
Yes, the Sport Sedan concept seen on Nissan’s stand at the recent North American International Auto Show in Detroit is in all likelihood a big hint as to what their next Maxima sedan will look like, but there’s a good chance these sporty styling cues will also find their way to future Nissan products… like the next gen. GT-R due for launch in 2016.
With these butched-up Sports Sedan styling cues, the GT-R rendering by Xtomi Design does look fairly brutal, which is exactly what Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer said about the next gen. GT-R, describing it as having a “brutal appearance”. He also confirmed the supercar will feature a hybrid powertrain.
