The Range Rover Evoque has been the fastest selling model of the Land Rover brand since it was released in 2011 with over 520 000 units sold globally. The brand has now given it an Ember Edition to give the Evoque more of a sporty persona by making use of a red and black colour scheme.
The Ember Edition makes use of the HSE Dynamic trim and enhances both interior and exterior design. The majority of the body is covered in a Santorini Black paint while the roof, front and rear tow eye covers are detailed with Firenze Red. As a finishing touch the badging on the tailgate and Range Rover bonnet will be painted in black with a silver outline.
The Ember Evoque also receives a set of black 20-inch alloy wheels, Dynamic black exhaust finishers, Narvik Black grille and darkened front and rear lights. The seats within the Evoque are upholstered in ebony black leather with contrasting Pimento red stitching, black and red premium carpet mats and gloss black trim finishes.
The Evoque Ember Edition will only be on sale for three months after its release in September for £47 200 (R967 000). No word on whether SA will be seeing this exclusive model as yet.
