One of the most famous American comedians and host of the now popular Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Jerry Seinfeld, has decided to sell off 18 of his beloved Porsches and VWs. Seinfeld has been an avid car collector over the years with a special preference towards the Porsche brand having owned classic models such as the 959 and 550 Spyder.
Gooding & Company has confirmed that Seinfeld will be auctioning off 18 premium models; 16 of which are Porsches. He didn’t give a clear reason as to why he intends to downsize his 50 car collection but he has stated the following: “The reason I wanted to bid these cars farewell in this way is really just to see the look of excitement on the faces of the next owners who I know will be out of their minds with joy that they are going to get to experience them.”
The vehicles will be auctioned during the Amelia Island Auction on the 11th of March in Florida alongside some other very interesting specimen. Here’s the full list of models being sold by Seinfeld:
