The range-topping Suzuki Grand Vitara Summit has received a number of cosmetic enhancements, both inside and out, to make it a more compelling purchase.
Up front, the Grand Vitara Summit’s now boasts a redesigned grille that’s finished in dark silver, while the profile benefits from 18-inch alloy wheels in the same hue. Suzuki South Africa has also added a new colour, Premium Silver, to the list of available exterior finishes.
The Summit’s cabin, whilst of course very similar to the rest of the Grand Vitara range, now also features gold-coloured trim to contrast the dark cloth upholstery. The gold trim can be found on arms of the steering wheel, gearshift lever, instrument cluster surrounds, centre facia stack and around the ventilation outlets.
The Grand Vitara Summit is powered by a 2,4-litre normally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 122 kW at 6 000 r/min and 225 N.m of torque at 4 000 r/min. Drive is sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox or four-speed automatic transmission.
Standard specification and safety features include remote central locking, electric windows all-round, cruise control, and four-speaker radio/CD player as well as dual front airbags and ABS with EBD and EBA.
