Instead, this wacky nuclear-powered vehicle design comes from the mind of a Russian designer by the name of Grigory Gorin.
So, there’s virtually zero chance of this thing ever seeing the light of day. But it’s still a fascinating concept, if you ask us.
Its full name is the Audi Mesarthim F-Tron Quattro, and it features a nuclear fusion reactor and plasma injectors.
So, how does it work? Well, steam is generated thanks to the heat of the reactor, which in turn spins a turbine connected to a generator. The generator keeps the on-board batteries juiced up, which then power the wheel-mounted electric motors. And, voilà, you have some serious go-forward oomph.
