Following the release of the new Volvo XC90, the R-Design derivative has been released. In true R-Design fashion, the aim is to give the car a “sporty and dynamic look”.
The interior will feature contour sports seats covered in Nubuck and perforated leather. There is also a perforated leather steering wheel, and further R-Design details such as the pedals, floor mats and illuminated tread plates. Even the remote control will be covered in leather!
The updates to the exterior are immediately visible owing to the new grille, front spoiler, new window surrounds, dual exhaust pipes and the 20-inch R-Design alloy wheels. As before, there will be no power output increases for the R-Design models.
Trim derivatives in the XC90 model range will include the Momentum model, followed by the R-Design and the Inscription models.
The Volvo XC90 R-Design will arrive shortly after the local introduction of the XC90 in July 2015.
