A few months ago, Ginetta announced that it was developing a new contender for the dwindling LMP1 class. Now that car has been revealed as the G60-LT-P1 … and it’ll be taking the fight to Toyota in this year’s World Endurance Championship.
The new racer marks the 60th anniversary of Ginetta and was revealed at the Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre boasting a TRS Racing Manor livery.
There’s still no concrete information regarding its powertrain, but initial reports suggest Ginetta has not gone the hybrid route.
The G60-LT-P1 will sport parts from Williams Advanced Engineering, XTrac, Ohlins, ARS, AP Racing, Megaline and Bosch. It will be campaigned in WEC by select privateer teams.
