After 2017’s World RX season finale at Killarney Raceway, the adrenaline-pumping motorsport event will return to Cape Town in November 2018. And ticket prices for the event have now been revealed.
Those who wish to attend on 24 and 25 November can purchase tickets on ticketpros.co.za. Basic tickets will range from R220 to R750, while premium “hospitality” tickets will set you back some R2 500.
World RX stars such as Sébastien Loeb, Peter Solberg and Mattias Ekström will compete at this year’s event, alongside 22 other drivers.
Last year’s event at Killarney saw a turnout of almost 30 000 spectators.
“It’s very important for us to come to South Africa,” said Paul Bellamy, World RX managing director for IMG. “This is the only FIA World Championship to have a round stage in sub-Saharan Africa. We felt the country was right for a World Championship – I can’t think of any better place in the world to visit in November than Cape Town.”
