GTC Africa Series organisers have revealed the Terry Moss Racing Engen Xtreme Audi A3 set to compete in the inaugural 2016 season.
The series is due to kick off in June, with all cars powered by 2,0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engines with an output of 300 kW.
And now the Terry Moss team has unveiled its Audi A3 Engen Xtreme liveried cars, which will be piloted by Michael Stephen and Simon Moss.
“We are very excited to be taking part in GTC this year. I’ve been around motorsport and particularly touring car racing for a long time, and I think GTC is a great solution for South Africa,” said Moss.
Michael Formato, chairperson of GTC, was pleased with the look of the new car.
“Our new series would not work if people like Terry Moss did not buy into the concept. He knows what works and it is a great endorsement to have his backing,” said Formato.
“I must say, the look of the cars that Audi and Terry have produced is nothing short of stunning and is exactly what we had in mind when conceiving this series – a top line, affordable, exciting racing car.
“I think our many existing GTC fans are going be very excited and we hope the quality of cars and racing will attract many more fans as our series grows.”
