If you could ask Dakar legend Giniel de Villiers a single question, what would it be?
Well, best you start thinking. Yes, we’ll be sitting down with the 44-year-old South African ahead of the 2017 Dakar Rally and want you, the readers, to come up with a handful of interesting questions.
Lighthearted, serious, technical – we’ll consider all types of questions. Variety is the spice of life, after all. We’ll select the ten best questions and have the Toyota driver answer each one on camera, addressing you by name.
De Villiers started his career in circuit racing, clinching the South African touring car championship four times in succession from 1997. He later switched to off-road racing, winning the Dakar Rally in 2009. He has finished on the podium four times since joining Toyota in 2012. In 2017, he’ll tackle the world’s toughest race in the new, two-wheel drive Hilux Evo.
