Mercedes-Benz has released the first video outlining its upcoming A45 AMG hot hatch. Featuring the most powerful production 2,0-litre, four-cylinder turbopetrol engine in the world (265 kW/450 N.m), the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG looks set to make a considerable mark in the premium hot hatch segment.
Packing 250 kW and an all-wheel drivetrain, the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG looks to set the hot hatch segment alight when it arrives here by the middle of 2013.
Mercedes-Benz’s A45 AMG hot hatch has been spotted doing the rounds at the Nurburgring. A 2,0-litre turbopetrol engine coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission will channel drive to all corners via a Haldex all-wheel drive system will provide power. Producing in the region of 250 kW and more than 400 N.m of torque, the A45 AMG is aimed squarely at the likes of the Audi RS3.
