Mercedes-Benz South Africa is about to launch the most powerful road-going C-Class of all time into the local market. Based on the already powerful C63 AMG Coupe, the new model is even more hardcore with a model-specific look and increased power.
Mercedes-Benz has released a suitably dark promotional video of its track-focused C63 AMG Black Series. It’s all there; from grimy industrial setting to the ferocious bark of the 380 kW 6,3-litre V8 engine to some gratuitous sideways action.
Mercedes-Benz has already released videos of its new hardcore C63 AMG Coupé Black Series. In this video, Mercedes-Benz focuses on the optional track and aero package which – among other things – adds a rear fixed wing, winglets situated on the front bumper, rear diffuser and semi-slick tyres. Late next week, Mercedes-Benz South Africa will be launching the new C63 AMG Coupé, the updated C63 AMG sedan as well as the more luxurious E63 AMG, which wil now available with the 5,5-litre biturbo engine. To tide us over until the official launch, have a look – actually more of a listen – as the Coupé is taken around, a wet circuit, slipping and sliding.
