As with most new-vehicle media launches, journalists are instructed to follow a carefully planned driving route in order to best experience the car in all conditions. An off-road vehicle launch route, for example, will inevitably head off-the-beaten track, while some performance-focused launches will deliver journalists to a racetrack.
For the recent international launch of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster, however, the route map included a stop at the Miami Airport. The reason? Well, where else were journos going to have a chance to test the top-speed claim of the new car?
