About three weeks ago, we reported on Peugeot’s return to one of the most challenging international motorsport events: Pikes Peak. Following the initial launch video, Peugeot has released this video below of nine-time WRC champion Sébastien Loeb’s first time behind the wheel.
In case you wonder what engine is responsible for that snap, crackle and pop sounds, it is a 3,2-litre biturbo V6 engine producing 650 kW. Also take into account the 875 kg weight of the car, and performance is rather mind-blowing. In conjunction with the all-wheel-drive system, the T16 will hit 100 km/h in 1,8 seconds and 200 km/h is dealt with in 4,8 seconds!
Expect to see this one-off creation in action on 30 June 2013.
