This dashcam footage shows a police vehicle chasing down and pulling over a bakkie towing a trailer that had caught on fire.
The video was captured from a Queensland Police Service vehicle on a highway near the town of Miriam Vale.
It shows a Holden Rodeo towing a burning trailer (by this point, sans wheels) that was spraying sparks and flames all over the highway, causing “multiple spot fires along adjoining bushland”, according to police.
The cops finally managed to stop the 49-year-old driver, who had apparently travelled approximately 20 km down highway with the trailer fully engulfed in flames.
