Over the years we have track tested several Mercedes-Benz products. As expected, all of these have been AMG versions. Watch our TOP 3 tests below, from the glowing brake discs on the CLS63 AMG, the kitted out A45 AMG Edition 1, and finally the tyre-smoking C63 AMG Edition 507.
Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG
See CAR’s track test driver Deon Joubert light up the brake discs of the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG en route to setting a blistering lap time around Cape Town’s Killarney race circuit.
Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG
Watch as CAR magazine’s track tester Deon Joubert sets a flying lap with the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG and share his thoughts with associate editor Ian McLaren. Also, look out for the September issue of CAR for a breakdown of the lap times.
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupé Edition 507
It is quite possibly (and rather sadly) one of the last naturally-aspirated engined Mercedes-Benz AMG products we will experience. The C63 AMG Coupé Edition 507 has a few of the C63 AMG Black Series’s updates, including the stronger version of the M156 6,2-litre, V8 engine.
We head to Killarney Raceway and hand the key to CAR’s track tester Deon Joubert to get an official time with the car. Watch as Deon takes the car over the limit – in spectacular fashion – and exchange thoughts with associate editor Sudhir Matai.
