In-car footage shows a young driver – belting out a song – lose control of his vehicle, rolling it at around 110 km/h in heavy rain.
The driver says he uses “singing as a way to pass time”, recording it so he can critique himself later.
The incident took place while he was driving from Indianapolis to Whitewater.
“At this point I was practicing a nasal type voice on a Casting Crowns song when the crash happened,” he said.
“I was watching the road and saw nothing that caused me to worry. Simply hydroplaned in a heavy rain. My car slid sideways, and then was completely backwards by the time I slid off the road and went down a small hill,” he explained.
Thankfully, he wasn’t injured in the crash…
