Lucky dog
They say cats have nine lives. Clearly, this dog believes it’s a feline. The footage you see above, filmed by spectator Jonathan Nunez at a rally in Santa Cruz in Bolivia, shows a speeding competitor jump clear over the little pooch.
The incident reportedly occurred on the second stage of the El Rally Codasur.
As a crowd looks on, the dog is seen trotting along the dirt track. Uruguayan driver Fernando Zuasnabar comes hurtling around the corner, but thankfully hits a rise in the road, jumping his rally car clear over the frightfully fortunate hound.
Talk about a close call…
