Regular readers of this blog site will know that the CAR team is a big fan of Fiat’s current US advertising campaign for its Abarth model. First the firm got our undivided attention by airing one of the most popular half-time Super Bowl ads of the year (here), then followed that up by casting the ever-controversial Charlie Sheen in its next ad (here). In keeping with the theme of casting characters that are difficult to ignore (including a fairly nice-looking Italian lady in the first ad), Fiat’s Dallas-based agency, Richards Group, has stepped it up a notch by casting a particularly cute baby in the third ad in the series. Surely an adorable puppy is already being trained for the fourth spot?
