We don’t think there’s any need for the obligatory “don’t try this at home” on this one. We’ve all been there, broken down on the side of a road with a broken fan-belt, stuck in the middle of nowhere where the closest populated town probably has more telephone poles than it does people. Broken fan-belts are no fun. Even the most mechanically sympathetic among us hate bruising knuckles and dealing expletives while changing things like fan-belts.
This chap clearly lost the plot one day and came up with this novel way to change one. It must be said though that the time you save changing it, all of half an hour, will probably be lost when you have to learn how to open jars with your feet after the inevitable loss of fingers. This trick is almost certainly pre-empted by one of two universal precursors to disaster, “watch this” or “how hard can it be”.
That being said, it is rather impressive. Don’t try this at home.
