Acknowledging 20 years since the death of Formula One legend Ayrton Senna, McLaren has released a video remembering the astonishing lap the Brazilian driver put together during qualifying for the 1988 Monaco Grand Prix.
Of the lap that saw Senna out qualify his McLaren teammate, Alain Prost, by 1,427-seconds Ayrton later said, “That was the maximum for me; no room for anything else. I never really reached that feeling again.”
