Not content with the exclusivity that comes from being unavailable for purchase, the Pirelli Calendar 2012 will be even harder to come by as fewer copies have been printed. The 2012 edition represents in some ways a return to the formula used in the past – classic female beauties in a natural setting, and not a male model in sight. Ironically, perhaps, this, the 39th edition of the famous calendar is the first to be shot by an Italian – Mario Sorrenti – who used the word “swoon” as his theme and chose Corsica in Italy as the location. The calendar consists of 25 images (19 black and white, seven in colour) and features such beauties as Kate Moss, Milla Jovovich, Isabeli Fontana and Rinko Kikuchi. You can view more images from this year’s calendar on our blog.
This year we do not have a calendar to give away due to the limited print run, but Pirelli has kindly made available a set of its tyres to fit the car of the winner.
