Here’s something you don’t see everyday. US-based automotive magazine MotorTrend recently gathered together a handful of their best driver’s cars of 2012 and lined them up for a “little” quarter-mile dash. As it turns out, the 2011 Nissan GT-R claimed top honours during a similar exercise last year, but that was before the Lamborghini Aventador and McLaren MP4-12C had arrived on the scene.
It’s interesting to note that there is no sign of a Ferrari in this shootout, although it is refreshing to note that CAR is not the only publication not allowed access to these precious Italian cars.
