This dashcam footage from the United States shows the driver of an Audi R8 slicing through slower-moving traffic on a highway in a manner one might expect from a lane-splitting motorcyclist.
The clip was filmed from a vehicle travelling on a highway in Pennsylvania.
It shows the first-generation, all-wheel-drive R8 approaching the camera-equipped car from behind at a fair rate of knots, before essentially slaloming between slower-moving vehicles up ahead.
While the Audi driver was likely frustrated by other vehicles clogging up the outside (in this case, left) lane, there’s no denying that the manoeuvre was downright dangerous.
