Mazda Motor Corporation has unveiled the all-new Mazda CX-5 crossover SUV that is expected to arrive in South Africa mid-2017.
The powertrain lineup comprises the 2.0 and 2.5-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines and the new CX-5 comes with G-Vectoring Control (a new system that uses software to shift weight onto the front tyres during turn-in that is meant to negate the small lag between when a driver turns a steering wheel and when the car actually responds. )
The CX-5 will reportedly have the option of a heads-up display system as part of the Active Driving Display option as well as either the 4.6 or 7.0 inch floating infotainment display options. Mazda promises the interior and body changes have resulted in notable noise vibration and harshness (NVH) improvements
This second generation Mazda CX-5 will be on display at the Los Angeles Auto Show, open to the public between November 18 and 27.
