The first opinions regarding Porsche’s new Macan SUV are appearing online.
Does the vehicle live up to all the hype? Yes, to an extent. Autocar’s Steve Sutcliffe likes it, although he adds that it isn’t quite the “sportscar” Porsche claims it is. With its bulk and high riding position it remains an SUV, but it is certainly very, very sporty one. It is as close to an SUV version of the Cayman as one is likely to find.
