Apple have developed an app for the Apple Watch that allows owners of the Bentley Bentayga to remotely control a selection of in-car systems.
The the iOS smartwatch app synchronizes with the SUV’s Touch Screen Remote (TSR) to allow control of the heating, ventilation and massage function on the seats, as well as the entertainment system and the air-conditioning. The watch can also relay real-time info like the outside temperature, distance traveled and vehicle speed.
The app can be downloaded from the App Store and it joins a list of accessories on offer for the Bentayga, including the Mulliner Tourbillon mechanical clock by Breitling , made exclusively for the SUV. With gold, diamonds and mother-of-pearl the clock goes for an eye-watering £150 000 (R3 265 000), or around £10,000 (R217 000) less than the SUV’s starting price in the UK.
