The C4 Cactus Rip Curl is an ultra-cool surfmobile that goes on sale in the United Kingdom from 1 June.
It’s set apart from the standard version by a series of unique exterior and interior styling elements. These include graphics on the wings and rear quarter lights, white roof rails and side mirror casings and orange detailing on the carpet mats (and a little Rip Curl label, which is a small but nice touch), seat belts and speakers. It also has the 17-inch diamond cut Cross alloy wheels encased in Goodyear 4 seasons M&S tyres.
The compact crossover will be offered with a choice of two engines, the PureTech 110 S&S and the Blue HDi 100 and comes standard with tinted rear windows, sat nav, automatic air conditioning, a rearview camera, cruise control, front and rear bumper protectors, automatic headlights and wipers. There is a choice of five body colors, namely: Sport Red, Tapenade Grey, Obsidian Black and Arctic Steel metallics and Pearl White pearlescent.
The UK apparently has a fair amount of surfers for such a small island surrounded by really cold water and it will be interesting to see how sales of this special edition of the C4 Cactus do. We’re not sure if this edition of the Cactus will make it to our shores but it would be rad if it does.
