Another limited edition from Toyota SA is the Hilux Dakar Edition. Also available until the end of September, the Dakar package on Raider models (single, Xtra and double cabs) was announced in conjunction with the Toyota Imperial SA Dakar team for 2014 – Giniel de Villiers and Leeroy Poulter.
Extra equipment includes a stainless steel Dakar branded nudge bar, rear styling bar, and side steps. A rear step bumper with a towbar, a black tonneau cover, smoky grey alloy wheels, body coloured mirrors and handles and a Dakar badge on the tailgate complete the exterior changes.
Inside, black leather seats and door inserts with red stitching as well as red Dakar embroidery on black carpets, and a reverse camera on the Xtra and double cabs, are featured.
