Recently, the folks at ECD Automotive Design unveiled the ECD Toyota FJ40, a reimagined version of the iconic FJ40. Now, the US company, who is renowned for their Land Rover Defender recreations, has whipped the wraps off another reimagined classic Toyota, the legendary FJ60. Looks brilliant, doesn’t it?

However, just like the reimagined FJ40, the ECD Toyota FJ60 comes at a price; you’d have to be prepared to part with more than R4 million if you want one … and that is before you start customising it to your preferences.

So, what do you get, as standard, for your hard-earned cash? Well, for starters, for this custom FJ60, ECD Auto Design has ditched the standard powertrain in favour of a 6.2-litre V8 from a Chevrolet Corvette. A variety of off-road upgrades are also present. The latter includes a revised suspension system, uprated fore and aft axles and anti-sway bars, and disc brakes. An LED lighting package is also included.
