A welcome upgrade to the Ford Everest is truly a simple “refresh” of much-loved but aging face. The line-up and mechanics stay the same, with the only real difference aside from the aesthetic tweaks being the cruise control now available on the top-spec model and USB and Aux input standard across the range. The pricing also stays largely the same, however, with only a slight increase on the LTD 4×4 model to account for the cruise control system.
Exterior changes include:
- A new front grille
- Slightly different front bumper, headlamps, fog lams and side mirrors
- Altered back windows
- Wheel arch flares
- New colour in the range: Copper Red
The full size spare wheel is still mounted on the tailgate with a side-hinged door for access to the seven seater.
Interior changes include:
- USB and Aux input standard across the range
- Cruise Control available on the Limited model
- New interior trim: “Basalt” (black vs the old “camel”)
Line-up:
The line-up is still three-models strong, with no changes to the engine (the Duratorq TDCi 3.0 litre engine) or mechanics.
Power deliver: 115kW and 380Nm at 1800 r/min
Fuel consumption: 9,3 to 9,7 litres per 100km

Ford Everest XLT is available in either 4×2 or 4×4 guise.
Everest LTD is available in 4×4 only with a five-speed automatic transmission.
