Will the new Everest get a V6 engine and Raptor treatment?

Yesterday we brought you the first information of the engine line-up said to be used in the all-new 2022 Ranger.

In case you missed out on that report, you can follow this link to catch up on the impressive line-up of engines, including a V6 diesel.

Car Expert in Australia claims to have seen confidential documents with details of the new Ford Ranger and there’s a lot to be excited about. The report also includes a few tidbits about the all-new Everest, which we reported on earlier this month.

Car Expert’s report also suggests the same engine line-up for the Everest, which means a 2.0-litre biturbo diesel, a 2.3-litre four-cylinder petrol hybrid and a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel with 186kW and 600Nm of torque. The same engine currently used in the Ford F-150.

The report also mentions a Raptor-like model, wearing a Wiltrak X badge. Apparently, this particular Everest will be V6 powered and will feature a Bilstein suspension upgrade and BF Goodrich rubber.
