While browsing the internet for the latest in motoring news, we stumbled across an odd suspension modification for the Suzuki Jimny.

We say odd, because unlike every other aftermarket suspension kit which aims to give the Jimny more clearance, this kit is meant for lowering the Jimny.
The kit is offered by Germany H&R and it includes a new set of springs that lowers the Jimny by 45mm. You can also get a more comprehensive kit that includes shock absorbers, stabiliser bars and roll bars.
At first glance it doesn’t make sense to lower a Jimny, but there is a sound argument for doing this upgrade.
The new Jimny has built up quite a following and not just amongst the 4×4 fraternity.
Many people purchased a Jimny instead of a small similarly priced hatch. It is an extremely good city car, if you only need space for two people.
